Boys Grade 3 to 4

U10 Program - Boys Grade 3-4 (born 2008 and 2007)

The aim of the U10 program is to introduce young players to how much fun the game of field hockey can be. We keep the teams small so each player has many chances to touch the ball. There are no goalies and we encourage lots of scoring!  The focus at this level is on fun, movement, skill development, and safety.

Teams: Approximately 10-12 players. No goalies.

Uniform: A t-shirt and socks will be provided that you can keep. Please wear black shorts.

Location: Sutherland for practices and games

Dates: Week of April 3rd - June 18th. No sessions April 15th or May 20th weekends.

Practice: Thursday nights from 6-7 or 7-8pm at Sutherland

Players in Grade 4-12 are also able to attend an additional weekly development session led by paid coaches. This will take place on Mondays from 5-6pm at Rutledge. The clinic starts from the 10 April.

Games: Games are on Sundays. U10 boys play in teams against each other. Jamborees against other clubs will also be arranged.
